Chronal: Sevenfold (Early Drafts)

Seventeen-year-old Zeph Chrono discovers a strange, glowing, water-damaged book washed ashore on his way home from school. The book was created by a godlike entity simply known as “The white figure,” the overseer of a mysterious trial. After a series of world-altering events, Zeph manages to make it home, but when he wakes up, he realizes something terrifying. Time hasn't moved forward. Instead, he's forced to relive the exact same day. Trapped in a time loop, Zeph must complete a specific challenge each day to progress to the next. With seven increasingly difficult challenges standing between him and freedom, failure isn't the end of the road, but it could cost him everything.
