All Amos wishes for is a quiet life on the fringe of society with his widowed mother and his hunter/ poacher mentor. But a chance encounter with a wandering mage alter this. He must confront forgotten secrets, kingdom altering feuds, and a global feud between Mage, Churches, and followers of the Old. Also evil cults, like the three feuding parties are not enough. With luck Amos can keep his head on his shoulder, avoid becoming a magic test subject, and rise up the rank to avoid casual persecution. Note: This is my first formal writing foray. English is not my first language and I might sometimes struggle with grammar. I am open to suggestions regarding to the content.
