Becoming a Typhoon

A series of novels called “Riptide” ends with the protagonist, Audra, committing suicide after a long battle with her magic surges. The readers were complaining when the author agreed to write another book, and a regular young woman is thrown into the world of “Riptide” to give Audra a happy ending. “This is such bullshit,” Audra complains as she enjoys a happy marriage. “I want to go home,” she whines while plotting how to gain a foothold in high society. “Oh wait this is kinda cool actually,” she admits when she ‘accidentally’ smites a man. Even riptide is nothing in the face of a typhoon.
