Conflict is all that Danara knows. Past, present, future have been forged by it. What must it take to make it go away? With the decree that the village of Danara shall be split into two sections - the mountains and hills with their plethora of resources to the royal families and the fields with their thirst for survival and hunger for life to the Palientes - that ever-present conflict only heightens. So much so, that even religious animosity ceases to exist. The bands of criminals controlling the Palientes have called for a truce under one condition - tear apart the royal families before resuming their dispute. Violence has a clear objective. And, blessed by the ancient father of their belief, it shall not yield until it sees the wealth of those above utterly shattered. Hope for an end to this unprecedented war exists. Hope in the form of an heir that seeks to heal, rather than to destroy. Hope that criminality has a cure. Two worlds collide. Two hearts intertwine. Two opposites dare. And the aftermath of their actions could be uplifting or catastrophic.
