Kalintill was once a young king in a world that still believed in gods, until the plagues came. These were no ordinary afflictions mind you, they twisted forests into horrors, drowned cities in rot, and birthed monstrous lords across the land. As kingdoms fell, the Angel of Death wandered with a burning lantern, spreading ruin wherever its light touched. At twenty-five, Kalintill died with his kingdom as the world collapsed. Then time reset. Kalintill awakens at eighteen years old, not as a king, but as a chained prisoner in the world. The memories of the fallen world linger, and worse still, the same plague magic that destroyed everything now lives within him. With knowledge of what’s to come, Kalintill begins his rise once more. In a world where gods are born as babies and plagues create monstrous rulers, he must fight, scheme, and conquer to reclaim his throne.
