Each encounter with flame leaves her frozen, trapped between reality and nightmare. After failing a crucial test to become a Magician, her future seems sealed, her path leading toward life as a Vanligt, one without magic. When a sudden attack by demonic beings triggers a catastrophic surge of her unstable power, Celeste nearly loses her life and endangers the entire kingdom. In response, the King confiscates her crystal, stripping away her last chance at legitimacy. Yet she refuses to surrender. Learning that answers to her condition may lie hidden within forbidden archives, she sets out on a journey with nothing but her sword, a fading hope, and the determination to uncover the truth behind her broken magic. **Story will be updated Tue/Fri. **English is not my first language, and I do admit that I needed AI to edit my grammar and help with my sentence flow, among other things. All original characters, plot, lines, locations, events, etc. are my original work.  **This story was first written over 15yrs ago, and has evolved over time to include a lot of my personal life experiences. The novel has a deep place in my heart. I have hundreds of images I drew by hand in its early days, mainly of the characters. Poems, songs, and AI generated images along with videos also exist for this story. But I don't know how soon I will be sharing those.
