They didn't come to conquer. They came to harvest. The year is 2650. The sky didn't turn red, and the oceans didn't boil. When the Xaltharians arrived, they brought something much more terrifying than war: Perfection. Within six days, the world was silenced. Pain, hunger, and grief were deleted, replaced by a clinical, digital nirvana. Humanity became a crop, their consciousness harvested to fuel a dying alien race's dream of immortality. In the heart of the Gobi Desert, the city of Neo-Khan rose—a shifting geometry of gray stone and weeping pixels. Aris, a man of cold logic, and Callista, a woman whose scars are the only real thing left in a world of ghosts, are the system’s greatest errors. Together, they must navigate the anatomy of a dying simulation and face the ultimate choice: Is a life of comfortable slavery worth the loss of the soul? Or is a freedom that smells of dust and feels like ice worth the price of a world in ruins? What to expect: Hard Sci-Fi & Dystopian Horror: A deep dive into a hijacked future. Psychological Depth: Exploring the weight of memory and the cost of utopia. Atmospheric World-Building: A viscerally described setting where biology and code merge. A Gritty, Emotional Journey: No easy answers, only the harsh truth of freedom.
