Mythweaver's Game

Two millennia ago, humanity was torn from Earth and cast into MYTHOS, a world overrun by feral, mythological beasts. Salvation came from Yggdrasil, the World Tree, which granted humans the power to bond with Eidos, the spirits of dead beasts, through Spirit Rites and becoming Beast Mages in a fragile symbiosis. Grey always loved to play with the creatures of the forest, running with the wild and knowing nothing of Spirit Rites or Beast Mages. However, when the ancient Ascension Rite awakens his extraordinary potential, he is thrust into a struggle far greater than he could imagine. A shadow spreads across Mythos, the madness that drives beasts insane is spreading, and the legendary Titans, silent for two millennia, are beginning to stir. Grey must bond with a powerful Eidos capable enough to face countless life-and-death trials, for the fate of humanity hangs in the balance. A new myth is unfolding… and somewhere beyond the veil, the Mythweaver watches, writing and weaving his masterpiece.
