When high school sophomore Scott Goldman didn't show up to his last day of school before moving away, his friends are determined to break out of the school and find him for one last goodbye. What they don't know is that Scott skipped the last day to take his own life. Before he could, a mysterious girl appears and strangles him, knocking him unconscious, and he wakes up in a place known only as "the playground."
