Gareth was a nobody. Gareth still is a nobody, except now he's naked, floating in a giant orb of purple goo in the middle of deep space. Those must have been some good brownies. Though if the interface hovering in front of him is to be believed, this is all real, not just some particularly wild hallucination. Now dumped into a new reality, Gareth has to contend with a strange progression system, alien technology, and worst of all, socialising with other people. All the while trying to figure out why some omniscient power seems convinced he’s capable of doing something even vaguely important. Will Gareth rise to the challenge? No. He’ll run kicking and screaming, wanting nothing more than to return to his comfortable misery of video games and debilitating debt.
