Agony

This is the fifth chapter of the Oathkeeper's handbook. Set around a decade after the events of the fourth chapter (Moulded), the story focus this time on developping characters introduced in the third chapter (Beyond the rings). This arc will be 70 chapters long, 5 chapter per week until the Epilogie on June 19th. Chilling air seep from the tightly guarded borders of the sheltered area. Sixteen years ago, Clarence was graduating from the Academy. Deemed talented she was sent far away from the city to work as a peacekeeper in St-Haraj, a medium settlement of resin workers. There, she built her life, became a pilar of society but she is growing weary. She feel like she has been forgotten by the world, sent into an unfair exile, she doubt her usefulness as a peacekeeper and, with her daughter gone to the Academy, she feel lonely. However, unknowingly, the wheel turned. At her door, a white haired woman carrying an heavy past on her shoulders is waiting for her to open. In a slowly freezing world, two childhood friends are about to reconnect, share their past and their worries.
