The Knight (Shorts)

In a kingdom, somewhere, fighting a battle for some reason, a story unfolds with a knight of some caliber. The knight fights in a war he doesn't care for, killing people he knows aren't the true enemy. Unfortunately, as the world spins, so do the minds of kings, and those unlucky enough to be serving beneath them. Bound by oath, honor, and not really having any other plans, the knight presses on from one battle to the next. This compilation of short stories follows the knight and the company surrounding him as they make their way further into the enemies' lands. Will the knight find a purpose outside of a title he no longer holds in esteem? Or will he succumb to the brutality of war and be known as a monster to one nation and a hero to his? He, nor I have any idea, but at least it's something to read.
