Linne Voltaire never expected his life to amount to anything extraordinary. Between school pressures, complicated friendships, and the lingering shadow of his father’s death, the world already felt difficult enough to navigate. But everything changes when a strange discovery pulls him into a mystery far older—and far more dangerous—than he could ever imagine. Centuries ago, a brilliant scholar named Norm Walrus encountered a mysterious device capable of tearing open the fabric of reality itself. What he witnessed that day was more than a scientific anomaly—it was a glimpse into an endless network of worlds connected by a force known only as the Vortex. Now, in the year 2033, the consequences of that discovery are beginning to surface again. When Linne stumbles upon clues hidden within his own home, he and his friends soon find themselves caught between powerful figures, secret technologies, and a web of events stretching across time and space. From hidden laboratories to ancient historical sites, and from quiet school hallways to battlefields that exist beyond their universe, the group begins to realize that the Vortex is not just a doorway—it is a battleground. As enemies move from the shadows to claim the power of the Vortex for themselves, Linne must confront a truth he never asked for: he may be the only one capable of unlocking the secrets behind the device. But understanding the Vortex could change everything. Not just their world. Every world.
