Two retired legends and a group of orphaned anomalies might just be the combo that breaks the world, or leads it to salvation. This is a slow-burn fantasy focusing on found family, a hard/biology-based magic system, and deep worldbuilding. If you enjoy character-driven epics that will have you looking like Charlie from Always Sunny in front of a conspiracy board, you're in the right place! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🗓️ NOTICE: I will be on a partial hiatus for June and July for vacation time and preparation of Arc II of TLCOW. Arc II is currently set to start in September! Current Release Schedule: Mon, Fri @ 6-7 PM EST Bonus Saturdays @ 9 AM EST The finale of Arc I will be released on Wednesday, May 27. It will be followed by some lore pages, art, and bonus chapters as I prepare Arc II for posting. The Lost Children will return soon! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Summary The Fel Kingdom of Wis’Ul is governed by those with the most fearsome of biology. Powers known as Elg define a Wis'Ulian Fel from the first breath they take. The very blood of these people feeds powers that bend, tear, burn, and generate. Only those most skilled may rise to the top. But for retired legends Berreth and Henefil, those ranks are a place they’ve long since left behind. While the Kingdom corrodes under its own weight, these two warriors find something the power-hungry world has forgotten: a group of orphans whose biological anomalies may just make them more dangerous than any Fel alive. Old soldiers must now become caretakers while the reaction unfolds. An old dream holds Henefil’s worst instincts at bay, as young Fel bounce off of walls, fire projectiles from tiny hands, and threaten to bring down their home with flames, lightning bolts, and shadowy orbs. Their current nightmare may just break the long-held bond she and Berreth share. Join the most powerful Fel in the realm of Ano on their long-spanning quest for justice and renewal for the Kingdom of Wis’Ul. And join the Lost Children as they uncover meaning, belonging, and answers in this unstable world of mad power and mystery. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tropes and what to expect! -Biological magic system with grounded rules and physical toll.
