Twenty-year-old Brad is late for class when his apartment elevator opens onto an endless maze of yellow office hallways instead of the lobby. Trapped in a shifting labyrinth of fluorescent lights, empty rooms, and things that hunt through the corridors, Brad survives only by following the harsh rules taught to him by a paranoid stranger who has been lost there far too long. But the deeper he goes, the stranger the maze becomes. The offices give way to impossible spaces. Others appear—none of them human, none of them from his world. And the truth behind the maze hints at something even worse than monsters: reality itself may be running on rules no one was meant to see.
