Hope for the Hornless

Once, demons were an unassailable threat. To come face to face with one meant certain death. Once, the continent was divided, with constant wars for resources and power. Then, five Guardians rose from insignificance to return hope to the land. Milos was not one of these Guardians. In fact, he’d grown up on stories of their adventures. Now, the Guardians grow ever older and demon attacks are becoming more and more commonplace. When a demon brings ruin to Milos’s village, he swears that he will do what the Guardians could not. Theron was an old demon. One of the first. And he was tired of the endless fighting and killing. All he wanted was peace. What he got instead was a pair of shattered horns and an exile. When Theron stumbles upon the lone survivor of a demon attack, he decides to take the boy under his wing. With a powerful master and a (mostly) indomitable will, Milos will bring peace to the continent, or he will die trying. What to expect: -Weak to strong MC -OP mentor figure, but not the strongest -Progression High Fantasy -Swords, Spears, Bows, Magic, etc. but no guns or other modern weaponry -There will be POV shifts -While this story is not a dark fantasy, bad things will happen.
