Despite his memory loss, High Overlord Chaos is a badass to end all badasses... and he's got minions. Lots of them. A whole bushel at least. They are small, round, rather adorable, and — depending on their mood — capable of ending civilizations. Tales from Towerne follows Chaos's Minionry across an omniverse far more dangerous than they are cute. One minute they're bickering over a map; the next they're pinned in the teeth of a primordial dragon's skull, still arguing about whose fault it is. Searching for lost relics, pranking the most legendary knighthood in history, and attempting to ask each other out on awkward dates are just the beginning of their worries. Big players in The Verses have big plans for them. For fans of the tonal whiplash found in Made in Abyss, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Arcane... where the cast is charming and the world absolutely is not. What to expect within Glorious Towerne: Short chapters and "traditional" short stories inside a shared world (usually 1,000-1,500 words) New releases Monday through Friday. Genre-spanning: sometimes comfy and cute, other times hearty and adventurous, and other times brutally unhinged. Stupidly overpowered "father" character: forgets often, fights rarely, but the heavens open when he does. Stupidly overpowered antagonist: depressed as hell but bakes a dang-good pie. ...They might be in love. (EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!) Hugely detailed factions at odds with one another - 100+ characters (only a few introduced at a time, though!) Some progression of a few key characters, but the story comes first Not a LitRPG - No "stats" but magic is consistent and impactful Dreadful lore questions implied by subtext. Sharp eyed readers should have a lot to pull apart High Overlord Chaos and Lord Knight Captain Order have a lot of people that adore them. With that said this is harem/smut free Sequel (Sometimes prequel) to The Courts Divided, but reading it is not required to enjoy this series. Can’t wait?
