High Overlord Chaos has minions. Lots of them. A whole bushel at least. They are small, round, rather adorable, and — depending on their mood — capable of ending civilizations. Tales from Towerne follows Chaos's Minionry across an omniverse far more dangerous than they are cute. One minute they're bickering over a map; the next they're pinned in the teeth of a primordial dragon's skull, still arguing about whose fault it is. Expect banter, bad decisions, and a body count. Comedy on the surface, yes, but something older and evil(?) underneath. For fans of the tonal whiplash found in Made in Abyss, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Arcane... where the cast is charming and the world absolutely is not. What to expect within Glorious Towerne: Short chapters (around 1,500 words usually) New parts drop Monday through Friday. Genre-spanning: sometimes comfy and cute, other times hearty and adventurous, and other times unhinged, absolute death. A little romance, a little philosophy, but mostly sword fights, jokes, and people losing clothes at the funniest-possible time. Stupidly overpowered "father" character: forgets often, fights rarely, but the heavens open when he does. Stupidly overpowered antagonist: depressed as hell but bakes a dang-good pie. They might be in love. (EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW) Horrible, terrible, (sometimes quite funny) things. Sequel (Sometimes prequel) to The Courts Divided, but reading it is not required to enjoy this series.
