Seraph Requiem Book One: Awakening

Greyson Knox’s fate was sealed the moment a heavenly executioner dropped from the sky. With a divine target painted on his back, his only lifeline is the outstretched hand of the infamous fallen Archangel, Lucifer. Taking that hand plunges Greyson into a universe vastly larger—and far more complicated—than he ever imagined. Reality isn't just Earth and the afterlife; it is divided into Five distinct Realms. And the cosmic conflict between them is no simple Sunday school tale. The Heavenly Realm is no paradise of pure righteousness, and the Demonic Realm is far from a fiery pit of mindless evil. Instead, Greyson finds a highly advanced, disciplined civilization surviving in the murky, morally gray areas of the cosmos. As an outsider thrust into a millennia-old cold war, Greyson inadvertently muddles an already intense political landscape. For his entire life, a dormant Shard of the Creator God has quietly existed within his soul, subtly helping and guiding him. But this divine fragment—along with his unnatural, explosive affinity for magic—hints that Greyson is far more than a simple mortal. To survive the heavens' endless pursuit, Greyson must throw his lot in with Lucifer, actively joining the fallen Archangel's grand, brewing plot for revenge. But before he can help topple a realm, he has to survive his own new life. Between surviving the brutal conditioning of demonic generals and taming his own magic, Greyson eagerly seeks out intense training sessions with Lucifer’s heir, the First Princess Lunafreya. He hopes to close the massive gap in their strength and maybe, just maybe, woo her. Unfortunately for him, the terrifyingly powerful princess prefers to answer his charming advances by mercilessly beating him to a bloody pulp in the arena. The heavens want him dead. A second Holy war is brewing. And Greyson is just trying to get strong enough to survive the crossfire.
