Seventeen-year-old Nova Calder has spent her entire life inside the floating city of Helios, a massive colony drifting above a dead Earth. Helios was built to protect humanity from the planet’s poisoned surface. At least, that’s what everyone is told. But when Nova intercepts a forbidden transmission from the ground—one that proves people are still alive down there—her world fractures. Because Helios isn’t saving humanity.
