Cleaning em all off

So many reasons ; a great example from my Novel 'Gamleon's Tail' The protagonist. Is searching for what he believes would be an easy bounty return. And in doing so, he encounters a Mountain High wall of water that is destroying everything he once knew. So of course he pleased from the impending disaster.. As he's traveling back. To his adopted home he notices A cavern high upon. A Cliff faced wall on the other side of a valley. So he decides to stop and check in to see if it might be a place they can ride out the flood. Inside he discovers all kinds of wonders and amazing things. I don't want to spoil too much here.
