Chardusk

A tale about the end of a world and the beggining of another, sacrifice for power urged by necessity, or perhaps selfish ambition. That is the story of Flint-a twelve-year-old whose life is set for strife by the unfortunate course of inevitability. As the fate of the world is decided by the malevolent hunger which lays beyond, a new order order shall arise, whether it is destined for eternal stagnation or progress built upon the sacrifice of heroes is up to the reader to decide. For Flint and his friends life will be simple, at least for a bit. Flint will learn of his dark origin and his enigmatic maker, he is made to be a weapon, unknowingly waiting to be awoken. Will he struggle against his purpose or embrace it?
