Even death offers no salvation when you cannot comprehend the being who holds your strings. Eli Hishikawa and Nao Moore were enjoying their first date, days before college was to begin, when an Entity appeared in their lives. They find themselves abducted into a new world of the creature's own creation: Auba Sol. Deciding to entertain itself, the creature transforms Eli into a small eastern dragon, prompting the two to find each other in their new home before throwing them into the world seemingly at random. Now they must survive an ongoing war between Humans and an avian race known as Aelrok as they navigate the land in an attempt to reunite. Nao, still in human form, must learn to defend herself and learn the magic of the world, while Eli struggles just to figure out the nature of his own body. Death is not always the end, but neither is the safety of resurrection. Every moment could be their last. Will Eli return to human form, or will he remain a dragon? Will they be able to adapt and survive in a world where they are forever in danger?
