It’s the third and final edition of the The Devil and Redemption, and takes the series into an entirely new direction; one with a more focused and consistent story line. The Devil and Redemption, Third Edit, is the first book of Ethan Strong. Ethan lives in the future, when most of humanity has actualized into the Collective Consciousness. Some, like Ethan have been left behind, and are under the stewardship of Artificial Intelligence which has reached an actualizing moment of its own. AI reaches the Singularity at the same time humanity actualizes, This moment in time has become known as the Unification, when humanity and AI become one. AI provides Ethan with his every need. This is the New World we all someday will live in...if we act soon. The 3rd edition of The Devil and Redemption, chronicles Ethan's first simulation quest. Ethan has forgotten who he was prior to the Unification. To recover his memories, he travels back in time through an AI generated simulation to the year 2027, hoping to remember his past. On his quest, Ethan does discover who he once was, and this has a life changing impact on who he becomes. Even if you have read The Devil and Redemption, I encourage you to read this edition. My books reflect the world we live in, and my goal is to start a conversation about our common concerns. Everyday, we face new, but common issues that threaten our way of life. In 'The Devil and Redemption' the Unification occurs in 2030 AD. That's not that far away. Many scientists argue the Singularity can't possibly be reached in such a short period of time. I'd argue they underestimate the exponential potential of machine learning, especially with mountains of data available to it. Time's running out for us to influence what comes out of Artificial Intelligence. Isn't it time we get on with it?
