I will be honest with you, I'm still not sure how I got here. One minute, I'm walking into my friend Sam's house- we kinda have an on-again off-again thing going on. Love her to death, marriage is out of the question. The next, I'm tripping through a magic portal and landing feet over ass in a medieval fantasy land where nothing makes sense to me. We're talking wizards, elves, fairies, dragons, zombies, and devils- all the stuff you'd see plus the kitchen sink. The cherry on top? I've noticed that I can speak any language and read any writing I find flawlessly. It's a handy skill, but I'm the only guy here who can't use magic, so how far can that get me? But that's just the start of it. I've fallen into the company of a knight with a stick in his ass and a mysterious pretty girl. One's got a vendetta, the other's got a complex, and I'm stuck in the middle of 'em. There's a big war coming up, one that happens every century, the biggest, baddest rumble. Hell itself opens up and spews out demons, and it's everyone's job to prepare for it and make sure humanity goes on another day. Prophecies repeat, the stars align, and everything falls into a cycle. But something is telling me this time it's different. Things don't seem to be adding up from what I can gather, and that's got folks in a tizzy. Oh well. Wish I had time to save the world, I'm only here to save my friend. She went missing, and as far as I know, she's our ticket back home. Trust me, I'll have my fun, but I know what I'm here for.
