After a failed assassination attempt of a romantic and political rival, Lady Ambrosia Cortland is sentenced to marry a former butler and struggling Baron Mr. McIntosh. Recognizing her extensive economic, political, and financial skills the baron hopes to use her expertise to revitalize his neglected territory. The two must work together in this marriage of convenience to achieve their mutual goals. Perhaps some day, genuine feelings might blossom between them. Hiiii.
