The Emperor Lives.........Two Souls from different universes and era's of time merge forming a New Emperor due to a Dark Mechanicus experiment gone wrongThe Grimdark future of the OTl is different but just as Dark.....Kelbor Hal as in OTL takes his thirty pieces of Silver from Horus in return turning traitor as in OTL, STC tech fragments and the key to the vault, additionally some captured alien tech specifically some Krork artifacts and remains of salvaged forbidden Ork tech are included to sweeten the pot. However, instead of going all Chaos Dark Mechanicum he restricts his activities to carrying on with the shadow war against the imperial loyalists of OTL without the Scrap Code and secretly lifts restrictions on forbidden tech (though he does still funnel supplies to the traitors and builds the super battleship, the workers and adepts are brought back rather than destroyed as in this timeline more control and order is kept on Mars and the loyalists are less strident in their opposition.) Nothing else really changes in effect until Horus arrives in system with his invasion fleet.Then boom Kelbor Hal turns on his Super Planet Teleporting Device built using forbidden tech from the vaults combined with the relics and Ork tech (in cannon the mechanicum did this with Ullanor AKA Armageddon, so why not lol?) gained from Horus............Rather than as planned the Red planet being transported to a virgin system on the Eastern Fringe the Void Dragon-infected tech at the heart of the device had other plans........Mars from the 31st millennium is instead swapped with Mars M2 just as a Certain Person is stepping foot on Mars for the first time after exiting the Nasa landing vehicle.....The Horus Hersey goes more or less as OTL, the Siege of the Imperial Palace ending with the confrontation on the bridge of the Vengeful Spirit and the Emperor receiving almost fatal wounds......When the Loyalists take The Emperor's body to be installed on the Golden throne, just before Malacador expires, the Emperor in the form of his M2 self teleports from the Virgin Mars into the Throne Room......
