Hunters and Witches by trade, Hansel and Gretel serve the world as best they can by hunting those creatures that seek out those innocent souls to harm and feed on... However, as they wander the country side, defeating evil and saving countless souls, their own limitations become more and more apparent. All too aware of their humanity after Hansel is nearly killed by a local vampire that found pleasure in hunting children for sport, they decide to change their goals. How do they do this? By adopting a child, young Gabriel, who was marked for sacrifice by the very vampire that nearly takes Hansel's life. Inspired by the boy's spirit and vigor, despite his young age and own weakness, they take him under their care forming the Gaurdian Coven. After seven years of intense training, in combat, healing and magics most potent, the boy sets off on his own path, lured by the desire to make his own way... starting by answering the call of an dying sorceress, beseeching the Coven for their greatest task. To stop the plague born of the Shattered Mirror before it can fully warp those it had already infected. Starting by saving a young girl, born of dark magic, before her power can be offered to the Spirit of the Mirror itself. Snow White, the child in question, carries a legacy no one person should be forced to bear, making her the target of countless evils, including her own Step Mother, the Local Witch Queen Mila and the fragment of the Shattered Mirror pushing her to darker and darker deeds. For Snow White, born of her Mother's meager attempt at magic, the world has never been kind. The dark magic woven into her soul, her blood, forces untold hunger in her blood, for blood. A hunger that grows with the passing of each day, and yet she tries her best to restrain all that she truly is. At least, until the Witch- Queen Mila reveals that Snow White has always been her target, and that her Mother and Father and the Kingdom itself were all collateral damage in her pursuit of power. Woe is any who would stand before her as the darkness in her heart begins to manifest into something more than could have been anticipated... marking her as a greater potential threat than has been seen in their world.
