My author journey began with a short story about a goblin chef and his loyal orc companion, Gorag, a story that went on to win a major fantasy competition and launch my writing career. That unlikely victory shaped the core of my work: intelligence over status, loyalty over power, and the idea that those dismissed by the world often change it.
