Kai, the true genius behind the world-dominating game Endless, was betrayed by his partner and left to rot. But when a mysterious meteorite crashes Earth and merges reality with the game’s source code, Kai survives the impact by fusing with a forbidden Violet Shard. Reconstructed as a "Glitch" who defies the system's physics, he hides as a powerless miner in a dystopian future. While the world worships the new "Heroes," Kai gathers resources to activate a developer’s backdoor, beginning his secret ascent to reclaim his world and destroy those who stole it.
