The Swordmaster

Drug-fueled sorcery and swashbuckling swordplay combine in this fantasy tale of mystery and intrigue. In this epic tale of magic and mayhem, Turgeon finds himself enveloped in a world of royal politics, swordplay, sorcery and mystery. Orphaned for the second time in his short life, he must find a way to navigate the intrigues of the royal court long enough to unravel secrets from his own past and chart a course for his future. While Turgeon works diligently to learn the art of swordplay from the royal Swordmaster, he finds himself caught up in a mysterious assassin’s use of foul necromancy in castle. In a kingdom where magic is outlawed due to the corrupting effects of the drugs that fuel it, the arcane knowledge Turgeon needs find and fight his hidden enemies is hard to come by. Meanwhile, neighboring nations are threatening a continent-wide war that threatens to destroy Turgeon’s new home. If Turgeon can’t stop the necromantic assassin in time, the kingdom will be plunged into chaos while it stands on the brink of war.
