The prophecy of the world’s end declares it shall arrive within two years.
The prophecy of Thomas Vale’s death foretells it will come within two days.
When an enigmatic seer whispered his demise, Thomas dreamed—serene and lucid—of inscribing his own epitaph in the hushed hours before the cataclysm.
The prophecy fulfilled itself.
Thomas perished.
Yet death was not the terminus.
In this world dwell ancient, occluded, and terrible powers—forces so primordial they can reanimate the lifeless, forging corpses into avenging revenants of terrifying potency.
His mother was already gone.
And justice—inevitable, inexorable—demands recompense.
Now, as Thomas is inducted into the arcane Tarot Conclave—a clandestine assembly steeped in esoteric sovereignty—he steps across the threshold into a realm where forgotten deities stir in the shadows and supernatural currents coil like serpents through reality. His path crystallizes with stark, unblinking clarity:
Revenge. Survival.
But he remains unaware—he has already been chosen: the new nexus, the fragile fulcrum upon which the salvation of the world now precariously balances.
