Several decades after nuclear annihilation, the world is snow-covered, wet or frozen. What remains of the north are warlords, clans, governorates and democracies, all vying for the limited resources within the carcass of the Union. Meanwhile, the newly established Jalisco regime marches toward the inevitability of civil war. As the situation in both the north and south worsens, the five fingers of the hand, the five most brutal warlords along the northern Mexican periphery, prepare a war of conquest. Simultaneously, Felix Barcas, a scavenger and wanderer, decides to journey to Puerto Vallarta. Note: at a theoretical optimum, publication should occur every 2-4 days.
