ZEN0 – Synopsis ZENO follows a 17-year-old village boy living a quiet life with his grandmother and friends in the small village of Fukaku. His days revolve around selling wood, playful banter with his teasing companion Yor, and caring for his younger siblings — but his ordinary life begins to shift when he attends a deadly public challenge hosted by the powerful organization known as the Soul Dusters. At the colosseum, Zeno witnesses the brutal strength of Stardust Reo, the third-in-command of the Soul Dusters, who defeats dozens of mercenaries with ease and enacts a terrifying blood ritual that leaves the crowd in shock. During the fight, Reo senses something unusual within Zeno — a mysterious presence that hints at a hidden truth about his identity. Disturbed by this encounter and burdened by the weight of responsibility after returning home late, Zeno is confronted by his grandmother, who forces him toward apprenticeship under the village blacksmith — a step toward maturity. However, the moment at the colosseum lingers in his mind. Reo’s gaze, his reaction, and the strange recognition suggest that Zeno’s life is tied to something far greater than simple village existence.
