is there a reason?

11th November 2024, I can't escape this date, not even changing the fate, I just want to live a normal life like the others do, I'm not asking for so much, it's like the universe put me in a game, and loves to watch me suffer. I just finished filling out some documents, and I'm going to head home hoping I would reach there normally, but I know i won't, i stopped walking and I look around to see a girl bothered by a man, should I interfere? It's not my business after all, but i can't put my finger how many times I had seen this scene, if i interfere would this Cycle finally broke, and i can finally live normally? I started crossing the road, but it was too late, the man pulled out his knife from his pocket and stabbed her, and I just stopped in the middle of the road knowing i failed again, I couldn't move, i wanted to run to save her, to ask if she's fine, to call an ambulance, but no one did, and I couldn't help, because I was paralysed, people around me are saying call an ambulance, I guess I got hit by a car again, and I hope this is the last cycle.
