Reality Defenders Rewrite When Lumine’s friend sells their souls to a demon for a boyfriend, she accidentally drags Lumine, her cousin, and another friend into the deal. Now they’ve been summoned to another world as its Defenders. Power here comes from Source Cards, and each of them receives a Legendary one. While her friends choose questionable abilities, Lumine picks Time Freeze—an absurdly powerful skill with brutal conditions. Lumine spends most of her time collecting new skill cards, unlocking stranger time powers, and going on enthusiastic murder sprees to level up. The problem isn’t that Lumine’s group is incompetent. They’re powerful. Smart. Extremely dangerous. They just care far more about having fun, gaining power, and doing things their way than actually being heroic. Which is why their attempts to “save the world” keep ending in disasters. And that’s before dealing with lava-rain clouds, floating oceans, glowing snake light bulbs, and nations living inside giant toads. Saving the world is their job. They’re just very good at showing how not to do it.
