Lisa is fourteen, blind, and out of reasons to keep fighting. Since the accident that killed her parents and stole her sight, her world has shrunk to a cramped room. Music is the one place she's free. So when the music stops, the darkness is always waiting. Pulled through a portal into a world she can't see by a fairy princess looking for a pet, Lisa finds herself stranded in a magical forest with nothing but a cane, a bad attitude, and the stubborn refusal to die in a place this stupid. Liri — tiny, arrogant, and convinced she's doing Lisa a favor — sees a broken human with zero mana and no potential. Lisa sees a delusional child with no concept of personal boundaries. Their first conversation is an argument. Their second nearly kills Lisa. Now bound to a fairy who accidentally shattered her body with magic, carrying power neither of them understands, and blind by a choice she can't yet face — Lisa must survive a world that underestimates her at every turn. She can't see. She can't go home. And the only creature who cares whether she lives or dies is a tiny princess who still calls her "pet." But the darkness that has chased Lisa since the accident that took her sight and her parents, had picked the wrong girl. Because Lisa doesn't break. She plays on. What to expect: A blind MC: Lisa gradually develops mana sight but remains blind as a theme throughout Book One. This may change later, but not yet. A slow-burn tale: Lisa is trying to find herself and her place in the world, while her actions are slowly shaping it. Multi-POV interludes: These brief chapters can be skipped but add depth and push the plot forward. Found family: A lonely fairy princess, a proud noble girl, a spider queen learning to be human, a dragon with a drama addiction, and a rival Lisa does not even know she making. Are a few of the random cast. A magic system tied to belief: Mana grows or weakens based on what you believe. Lisa has infinite potential but lacks the knowledge to wield it. A world that feels lived in: As Lisa explores, she discovers that what she knew about this world was far from the truth. as slowly she goes from only known a cave life, to a growing understand of the world. A shadow self: A voice in Lisa's head that has existed since she lost her sight. Yet when she gained her mana power, the shadow became something more. Is it her unconscious fear given a voice? A side effect of her power? Or her true self? What not to expect: No instant power fantasy: Power comes from struggle, mistakes, and understanding. Lisa is overpowered at the start, but she lacks the knowledge to wield it. No harem: This is a story about self-discovery and found family. No romance in Book One: It may appear in Book Two or later.
