A Chapter from the 1st Book of the World of the Thin Lands

A sneak peek into the prologue, and first couple chapters of the first book in the World of the Thin Lands, the second fantasy world that I have created.  This book will be the first book of the "Ashfyre series" called "A Work of Demons".  It is released  May 2026, and will finish at around 245,000 words.  It will be the first novel in a roughly five book series.  I have the first four  finished, and the fifth I'm working through.
