That day, the three realms shook. That day, the gods felt fear. That day, the sky shattered and the immortals were no more. Centuries ago, a mortal with no name invaded the heavens.  He shifted the skies and uprooted the Immortal's arrogance As a result of his actions, the gods decided to punish humanity.  Humans would have the desire to become Immortal, being arrogant and going on a treacherous path leading to horrors and death. However, if one was able to overcome this path they would be able to undo the curse and end it all.
