Synopsis  Trixie Bell is not your average Salem witch. Sure, she can whip up a hurricane in a teacup and charm a lock from across the street, but most days she’s just trying to keep her life organized, her anxiety in check, and her hair from catching on fire when her emotions spike. Slightly overweight, gloriously red‑haired, and unapologetically neurodivergent, Trixie has a gift for patterns, details, and magical arcana… even if she struggles with loud places, small talk, or remembering where she left her wand.  Her familiar, Dixie Bell, is a massive, snarky Maine Coon with a talent for sarcasm, dramatic monologues, and eating anything that stands still long enough. Dixie insists she’s the brains of the operation—and she might not be wrong.  When a series of bizarre, magically‑tainted “accidents” strike Salem’s historic district, Trixie reluctantly steps into the role she’s tried to avoid: investigator for the supernatural underworld. Ghosts are waking up cranky. Wards are unraveling. A centuries‑old curse is stirring. And someone—or something—is hunting witches.  With Dixie prowling at her side, Trixie dives into a world of vengeful spirits, rival covens, cryptic grimoires, and ancient Salem secrets buried deeper than the witch trials themselves. But the more she uncovers, the more she realizes this mystery is tied to her family’s past… and her own untapped magical potential.  Trixie Bell never wanted to be a hero.
