I Was Reincarnated as the Commander of a Doomed Naval Base

This is a AL/KC Inspired Story. It has dark elements, violence, and other things some might find disturbing. Note: It is a Isekai story, but the MC only reveals a little bit at a time about his origins in spread out chapters. He has already been Isekai'd once before, but he is not one of the happy ones... Extra Note: The only thing AI Generated is the cover art as I have plans to replace it with one that I will be getting commissioned!Synopsis is below!~ Kade Bher died once as a battle-worn hero in another world. Then he woke up sixteen again on an alternate Earth drowned by war, monsters, and the sea. Years later, at twenty-three, he is assigned to Horizon Atoll—a broken, forgotten naval base where discarded officers, neglected personnel, and shipgirls treated more like hardware than people have been left to endure whatever the Pacific sends next. What should have been a dead-end posting becomes something else the moment Kade arrives. He reorganizes the base, repairs what everyone else had written off, and—more dangerously than that—starts treating the girls under his command like living souls instead of disposable assets. That change does not go unnoticed. As Horizon begins to breathe again, small loyalties start to form in the cracks: quiet trust, unexpected tenderness, the first signs of a home being built where none was supposed to exist. But the sea is watching, and the war is larger than any one island. Raids turn into revelations. Defiance turns into survival. And when the Pacific itself rises to crush Horizon, Kade and the girls around him are forced to decide what they are willing to become for one another, for the base, and for a future no one ever intended them to have. Now Horizon has survived the impossible. The world is starting to look its way. And in the silence after victory, new fault lines are opening—between duty and desire, obedience and selfhood, the life they were assigned and the one they may begin choosing for themselves.
