2066: Humanity was extinguished. Erased from the stars by a cosmic race that didn't even bother to learn our name. February 27, 2026 – 09:12 AM I was just a guy running a failing cafe, staring at the steam rising from a cup no one was going to buy. Suddenly, the air itself tore open. A bearded man, stark naked and trembling, materialized out of thin air. He lunged toward me, his eyes bloodshot and screaming with a desperation that defied logic. "Why?!" he roared, his voice cracking like breaking glass. "Why didn't you do anything?!" Before I could even blink, he didn't just die—he detonated. A sickening pop echoed through the room as he dissolved into a mist of gore and bone dust. I stood there, jaw hitting the floor, rubbing my eyes until they burned. "Holy sh*t..." I breathed, my heart hammering against my ribs. "I’ve been staying up way too late gaming. I’m finally seeing things. I'm officially losing it." I looked around my tiny, pathetic cafe. It was empty, as usual. It was clean, smelled faintly of roasted beans, and was devoid of any naked lunatics or blood-splatter. Just a quiet morning in a world that had no idea it was already dead.
