Then a stranger washes up on her shore, and the lies that have held the island sealed for generations begin to crack. What follows is a journey across realms and broken kingdoms, through histories the world was never supposed to remember and powers it was never meant to keep. At the center of it all are the Soules: orbs that grant a wielder the strength of spirits, of gods, of demons. And above those, the Grand Soules, the relics that powerful men hunt because whoever holds them holds the shape of the world: Seven shards from an ancient evil from a previous era.  Ancient things are stirring.
