In the journey of Star Abyss Odyssey, where they are forced to witness the collapse of the universe, Ma Feili and Ada occasionally access those archive nodes that “no one will ever read again”—they are not history, not mere data, but the final, whispering confessions of civilizations facing entropy’s inevitable rise.  These archives have no protagonists, no redemptive arcs.They are abandoned logs, formatted last wills, radiation-scorched images reduced to faint outlines, the last poem a silicon spirit etched into its lattice before meltdown, a single “I’m sorry” uttered by a collapsing human gene bank to descendants who will never exist.  Here, you cannot be certain of witnessing any heroic counterattack or miracle that reverses heat death.
