Figured I'd be upfront about what you're getting into. * Chapters 0 to 3 – They're not bad, but my writing style there was a bit over-poetic. A little cringy in places. I was still figuring things out. If you push through, Chapter 5 is where the story actually finds its rhythm. * The pacing feels fast – That's just how I describe things. It's not rushed, it's just the style. It settles down. * If you're here for an OP MC or a harem – This isn't that. Not happening. There is a sort of harem in this world, but not for Kael. A rat's not getting one. * Romance – Might exist in this world, but not in this volume, and not for Kael. He's got other things to worry about. And no, he's not gay. Just not interested right now. He gets there later though. * The System – Doesn't show up early. You want logic? Here it is. Awakening is hard to get. That's the whole point. When it finally happens, it'll mean something. * The characters – Kael's the MC, but every character I write gets the same treatment. I pour everything into them. Cole. The ones you haven't met yet. They're not just background. They matter. Kael? He's not perfect. He's not a hero. But he's worth your time. I poured everything into him and the others. * One request – Leave a review. Good or bad.
