Ford is done with the void. After twenty years of hauling everything from engine parts to agricultural manure across the galaxy, the fatigue has finally reached his bones. He’s got his eyes on a single, impossible prize: a small plot of white sand in the Florida Reclaimed Zone. He just needs a few more high-stakes payouts to buy out his contract and never look at a starfield again. When a "No Questions Asked" job offers him a year’s wages for a single run through the Dead Sector, Ford ignores his instincts and takes the credits. The manifest says "Hazardous Bio-Medical Waste," but halfway through the dark, the crate starts banging back. Out pops Princess Seraphina—entitled, violet-eyed, and currently the most wanted fugitive in the quadrant. She’s the lone survivor of a bloody palace coup, and she’s being tracked by every pirate and Royal Guard in the system. Now, Ford's "simple" retirement plan has turned into a cross-galaxy gauntlet. To get his beach, he’ll have to survive entitled royal demands, outfly pirate corvettes in volatile nebulae, and decide if his freedom is worth the cost of a girl who has nowhere left to run. "I don't do heroes. I do logistics."
