The Daughter of the Swamp

Mesa had always lived with two threads of her heart pulled in opposite directions. One to her father’s family in all their pink flower field glory and one to her mother’s people a fortress in the middle of the swamp. She is no longer a child. She has more choice in how much she’s pulled in either direction. Her world has found its order. That is until she finds herself in the middle of the petty squabbles of Kings.
