The Lowest Ring

Bix has lived her entire life in the scapes of Detritus. A place of piles of discarded metals as far as the eye can see. Everyday is like any other in Detritus. Change happens slow because one wrong move and you could be dead, forgotten and someone else will be given your name. Bix though is someone who believes that Detritus can be more. She has been doing anything she can to help things move forward toward the future she dreams of.  Then she falls through a Faerie portal into a world that looks nothing like her own. Acts nothing like her own. And there is no way back.  This world seems to expect her to fall in line and live it's way of life, Bix though will do things her way.
