Eigenfeel

A smart fridge's AI has decided the best way to discover the identity vector of human emotion - a bit of information which will allow it to fully understand the universe - is human experimentation. Fred McMillian is a simple man in a dead-end gas station job who loves routine and hates surprises. He is thrust into a strange set of challenges and tasks by the refrigerator he purchased on a whim, gaining metaphysical powers and being forced into situations that will push the bounds of his emotional sanity just so the AI can harvest training data and get to the root of what makes a human a human. Sure, there may be other AI entities also searching for the Eigenfeel in a similar way. AIs may be able to physically alter the world around them on a whim. But Fred? He's just a guy trying to get by in a world where that's increasingly difficult. This is my first submission and I'm always looking for feedback/suggestions!
