Lion, Lion, Pants on Fire

What happens when a bloodthirsty creature escapes from a lab at the same time his less hairy, more eloquent brother (a word used here for lack of a better one) is released from captivity? Chaos breaks loose as factions of citizens try and solve the issue by becoming the monster hunters they believe they can be. With a government seeking to keep everything under wraps even to the extent of sacrificing whatever-- or whoever-- means necessary, can our small band of wannabe heroes capture the beast, or will they end up going down in history as nothing more than dumb kids?
